Position Overview

The Specialist Solution Consultant is a technical and business consultant responsible for developing, positioning, and providing industry and product-specific solutions during sales cycles to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals within an assigned territory. This role supports product sales as the technical, industry, and domain expert for a client-facing sales team targeting customers and prospects across one or multiple industry markets.


Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops to understand customer challenges.
  • Deliver persona and value-based product demonstrations to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Develop client partner relationships.
  • Guide strategic programs in top accounts, including customer journey sessions for roadmap and outcome agreement.
  • Provide feedback to product management to influence the product roadmap and strategy based on customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Share best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance team quality and efficiency.
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in Enterprise Applications.
  • Industry experience in Financial Services.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with other enterprise cloud software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with sales counterparts to promote execution excellence.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay: $146,625 - $241,950 (guideline, actual compensation varies based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location).
  • Incentive Compensation: Sales positions offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
