Responsibilities

  • Develop, service and maintain a base of clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or other media services to achieve annual sales goals
  • Offer zone buying to allow small advertisers to reach customers in their retail trading areas
  • Analyze, develop and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products
  • Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue
  • Interact with various internal departments to carry out client requirements (e.g., scheduling advertising, monitor account activities, monitor and manage collections)
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in development of sales forecasts
  • Complete required documentation and reporting for contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls and expense reports
  • Seek new customers by continuously prospecting following Company's planned sales strategies and tactics
  • Analyze confidential information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas and general correspondence
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
