Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and have 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a Cloud software company. Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail are required. Experience with Bill.com, Expensify, and Netsuite is preferred.
The Accounting Analyst will manage and reconcile accounts payables, including entering, classifying, and verifying vendor invoices, maintaining vendor details, and reconciling the AP ledger. This role involves verifying discrepancies, assisting with 1099 preparation, performing onboarding tasks in Expensify and Netsuite, managing corporate expense credit card reports, and analyzing AP data for trends and improvements. The analyst will also communicate with spend owners and vendors, assist the broader Finance/Operations team with ad hoc tasks, support financial statement audits, and perform quarterly VAT reclaiming and spend analysis.
