Position Overview

The Account Manager is a crucial part of the Customer Success Team, responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth customer accounts at Xapo Bank. This role involves identifying leads, building strong customer relationships, and providing assistance with all Xapo Bank products. In collaboration with regional Customer Success Advisors, Account Managers ensure a seamless onboarding process and a positive customer journey, aiming to create a "customer for life" experience.

This position requires a willingness to travel for regional events and in-person client meetings to strengthen relationships. The primary goal is to retain and grow the client base while prioritizing customer satisfaction. Account Managers are tasked with achieving revenue targets through both retention of existing business and acquisition of new business to maximize bank profitability.


Responsibilities

  • Originate, onboard, and maintain global High Net Worth (HNW) customer relationships.
  • Understand customer needs and formulate appropriate solutions based on their circumstances and risk appetite.
  • Serve as a regional escalation point for Customer Success Advisors in providing banking services.
  • Attend regional events to promote the Xapo brand and generate new leads.
  • Meet existing customers face-to-face to foster and grow relationships.
  • Monitor customer portfolios and provide timely updates.
  • Maintain expertise in Xapo's products and conduct regular reviews to reassess client risk profiles and wealth management needs.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets aligned with team and business objectives.
  • Provide product demonstrations to prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for increasing the customer base and identifying cross-selling opportunities to grow Assets Under Management (AUM).
  • Go above and beyond to ensure client needs are met throughout the onboarding process and beyond.
  • Stay updated on advancements in the crypto and traditional finance industries.
  • Escalate region-specific issues to Product and other partner teams.

Skills Needed

  • Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is beneficial).
  • 5+ years of customer-facing banking experience in private banking, private wealth, investment banking, or commercial banking.
  • Professional or personal exposure to crypto markets.
  • Proven track record of originating leads and managing customer relationships in the financial services industry.
  • Confidence in orchestrating face-to-face and online meetings with customers.
  • Ability to handle inquiries from prospects at industry events.
