To strengthen the Patient Support Systems (PSS) team, Baxter is seeking an Account Manager (m/f/d) for the Bavaria region. This role is crucial in revolutionizing patient care, particularly for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, supervise, and operate company strategies, objectives, and targets for a designated sales territory to maximize profitability, sales figures, and market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build a strong business foundation to enhance Baxter/Hill-Rom's market reputation.
  • Identify potential customers through research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers.
  • Actively seek and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and present company products/services as optimal solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations within the sales region.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to build trust and influence.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the specific needs and challenges of potential customers.
  • Conduct negotiations, overcome objections, and close deals efficiently, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt sales strategies and approaches.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts in Sales Force.
  • Report account status and growth potential to management in accordance with the sales management system requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Therapy Specialists, Marketing, Product Development, Technical Service, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless solution delivery.
  • Gather feedback from customers and prospects to inform product development and improve customer service.
  • Provide relevant insights and advice to customers by staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Completed commercial apprenticeship and relevant experience in sales and consulting of medical systems.
  • Medical Device Consultant (m/f/d) qualification.
  • Interest and understanding of medical backgrounds and contexts.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
