Requirements

  • Consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation, or experience in progressively larger formal leadership roles working in a complex technical environment
  • Willingness to travel within specified geographic region (Friuli Venezia Giulia or Veneto: Treviso, Venezia, Padova, Belluno) with occasional overnight stays
  • Willingness to submit to a driving record check if required to operate a vehicle for company business
  • Specialized knowledge in breadth and depth of GE Healthcare Imaging products, as well as sales experience as an expert in the field
  • Awareness of and compliance with GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, applicable laws and regulations
  • Completion of all planned Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines
  • Knowledge and understanding of Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (e.g., GE Healthcare HIPAA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations) and operation within them
  • Knowledge and understanding of Environmental Health Policies (e.g., GE HealthCare EHS Policies, Fleet Rules) and operation within them
  • Ownership of order and configuration quality at point of entry

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers and business, grow and maintain existing customer portfolio, qualify new leads to support balanced sales funnel
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, demonstrate equipment capabilities on assigned products in assigned territory
  • Conduct sales negotiation and deal closure, interfacing with key buying influencers (direct users, department heads, CXO level)
  • Sell point of sale service contracts, financing, and drive margin by selling value and holding price
  • Develop and maintain high level of product knowledge of GE and competitive products
  • Achieve annual and quarterly order and revenue targets through accurate forecasting, prioritizing selling time for sales volume, account penetration, and territory coverage
  • Maintain satisfactory after-sale relationships, develop long-term customer relationships, identify and capitalize on opportunities to satisfy customer needs
  • Develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts
  • Communicate current market intelligence, field concerns, issues, and requirements back to the business
  • Provide leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product sales
  • Identify and report quality or compliance concerns, take immediate corrective action
  • Drive continuous improvement on related processes, work instructions, and procedures for Quality Management System standardization and simplification
