Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager with German language proficiency to join our mission in creating a #CyberFit future. This role focuses on driving renewal accounts for customer maintenance contracts within the DACH region and identifying/closing add-on sales opportunities within our existing customer base. You will be a key part of our fast-paced software company, supporting our sales team by managing our leads program. We are looking for an organized individual who thrives in dynamic, global teams and a rapidly changing work environment. Responsibilities

  • Renewal Management (50%):
    • Responsible for renewing existing license contracts.
    • Manage the renewal of customer maintenance contracts in the DACH region.
    • Provide quotes directly to customers and/or their assigned channel partners.
    • Handle customer and partner inquiries related to quotes, pricing, co-terming, up-selling, and reinstatement of maintenance contracts.
    • Identify and pursue maintenance reinstatement opportunities.
    • Assist in the negotiation of maintenance agreements.
  • Upselling and Cross-selling (50%):
    • Upsell to existing customers and identify opportunities for add-on sales of other Acronis products.
    • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potentials, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Collaboration:
    • Positively interact and collaborate with Customers and Acronis partners.
    • Work closely with distributors, Acronis Sales Managers, and Sales Engineers to ensure sales closure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a cyber security company, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry practices and protocols.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to articulate product features and answer customer questions effectively.
  • Strong closing sales skills (3+ years of sales experience).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to make 15+ calls per day.
  • Punctual, reliable, and possess strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, upbeat, organized, and highly persistent in follow-ups.
  • Flexible, team player, open to changes in responsibilities and strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English and German (business negotiation level required in German).
