Requirements

  • Strong background in business and customer management within the semiconductor industry
  • Good understanding of the Foundry industry and semiconductor technology
  • Large network in the semiconductor industry (preferred)
  • Daily onsite presence in San Jose HQ with an average of 10% travel per month

Responsibilities

  • Generate and drive new accounts to successful engagements, leading account management from first contact to final onboarding
  • Articulate Samsung’s strengths in semiconductor process technology and craft solutions based on customer needs
  • Work with internal organizations (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Headquarters) to lead marketing pitches and secure design awards
  • Collect customer requirements and respond to RFI/RFP/RFQ
  • Prospect, build relationships, and close deals, emphasizing outbound sales and building a pipeline of new leads
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Support or lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions to close deals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
  • Develop sales strategies based on customer needs, market research, and competitive analysis
  • Identify, manage, and coordinate sales efforts for customers in emerging and mainstream businesses, including data center and AI applications
  • Forecast in coordination with marketing and sales teams, reducing ambiguity and focusing on long-term product requirements
  • Lead project management meetings across sales and marketing teams to align on strategy
  • Once accounts are converted, lead contract negotiations and manage sales operations
  • Assimilate industry and customer requirements into the Marketing knowledgebase
  • Support team by empowering achievements, facilitating self-management, developing growth opportunities, and proactively planning
