Requirements

  • Prior experience in sales roles within nutrition
  • Strong results orientation, ability to meet KPIs and achieve targets
  • Ability to deal with Key Opinion Leaders and quickly build/maintain business relations on a partnership level
  • University degree in life science (preferred, not essential)
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret data and create action plans from data
  • Experience engaging customers via remote platforms such as Microsoft Teams and/or e-detailing (strong asset)
  • Readiness to travel across assigned area on a frequent basis

Responsibilities

  • Meeting (or exceeding) sales and activity targets
  • Organizing own time effectively to maximize customer contact and take advantage of business opportunities through a multi-channel approach
  • Carrying out administrative work accurately and on time (including call reporting)
  • Arranging meetings and 1:1 customer contact to educate customers and promote Abbott products remotely and in person
  • Managing own territory effectively, working as a member of an account management team and team of sales representatives covering a region
  • Attending regional meetings and sales conferences as required
  • Interpreting data (e.g., effort vs. results, frequency coverage of target customers, and sales data)
  • Cross-functional working to ensure community guideline inclusion, supporting retention and winning of contracts
  • Implementing healthcare management programs
