Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or marketing, and preferred experience in the automotive industry. Leadership experience in sales or engineering within the automotive or related sector is required, along with advanced knowledge of the organization’s policies, products, and/or services, including engineering principles and specifications. Strong knowledge of market trends and their implications is also necessary, as well as advanced selling skills and understanding of how sales relates to other organizational functions. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
The Account Manager will be responsible for implementing sales and service activities for an assigned customer group, maintaining relationships with key accounts to achieve profitable results, and coordinating customer information system implementation. They will negotiate customer contracts aligning with the company’s sales strategy, coordinate with the assigned sales team, assist in setting up sales plans, collect and report customer information, develop and maintain close customer contacts, and develop new business and new customers.
