Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing preferred
  • Preferred 3+ years prior retail sales, merchandising, or management experience
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, product lines, ordering procedures, and credit terms
  • Ability to manage end-to-end initiatives through challenging deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to service multiple customers simultaneously
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Stay current on existing and new FreshPoint technologies (e.g., GoFreshPoint, e-Commerce capabilities, Tableau, 360, etc.)
  • Ability to sell, multitask, familiarity with customer service activities, interdepartmental and cross-departmental communications
  • Effectively present information and problem-solve
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience with and working knowledge of FreshPoint customers and sales support best practices

Responsibilities

  • Act as day-to-day contact for customers: handle customer and order inquiries, manage customers to MDA compliance, ensure customer satisfaction
  • Build out customer call plan and execute against company expectations
  • Increase share of wallet with existing customers via face-time to identify desires/goals, evaluate market trends, recommend products
  • Work with specialists/brokers for product ideation
  • Share information and knowledge with customers as value-added service; answer questions about products, prices, availability, and uses; provide product information and practical training to customer personnel
  • Manage activities initiated by FreshPoint CMU HOME team, including maintaining customer order guides, LTOs, Red Alerts, etc
  • Utilize Sysco 360 CRM tool for account management, opportunity tracking, task management, logging and maintaining key customer data (contact information, prospective customers, wins, promotions, future business reviews, etc.)
  • Participate in ongoing training: Sysco360, Tableau Reporting, Penetration Tools, etc
  • Promote the company’s products and services
  • Build relationships with new and manage existing accounts
  • Help FreshPoint customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company
