Huntress is a fully remote, global team dedicated to breaking down cybersecurity barriers. Founded by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress provides enterprise-grade cybersecurity products at an affordable SaaS price, protecting over 3 million endpoints and 1 million identities worldwide. This role is for a Senior Account Executive to support the growth of the Mid-Market team, driving net new business opportunities. The sales approach is value-based and solution-oriented, focusing on educating partners rather than pushing end-of-quarter deals.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals and quarterly revenue targets by qualifying and closing net-new opportunities at mid-sized companies.
  • Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position Huntress' offerings to suit their needs, acting as a trusted advisor and industry expert.
  • Stay current on competitor offerings and identify their strengths and vulnerabilities.
  • Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks.
  • Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with internal teams (Sales Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Account Management) to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in the CRM.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be located in the DMV area.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a strategy sales position.
  • 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience at a software or technology company.
  • Strong track record of success driving revenue, creating new business, and delivering a customer-centered experience.
  • Comfortable working within and maintaining accurate records and forecasting within a CRM system.
  • Ability to work well independently and be highly responsive to clients.
  • Strong presentation and active listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and handle changing priorities.
  • Ability to think critically in a variety of situations, demonstrating drive, initiative, energy, and a sense of urgency.
  • Embrace a value-based sales approach.
  • Be coachable, curious, intelligent, resilient, team-oriented, and possess customer-centric empathy.
