Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in an Account Executive (or equivalent) role within SaaS or a related industry, ideally selling enterprise data software into US banks
  • Experience encouraging customers at senior levels to think differently about a problem or challenge
  • Understanding of some or all of the data technology ecosystem, especially Apache Kafka, Data Streaming, and the broader technology landscape (key players, technologies, and challenges)
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience working in a startup
  • Creative, energetic, and a self-starter who understands the sales process
  • Ability to sell innovation, drive deals forward to compress sales cycles, prospect within territory, and close net new accounts
  • Based in or able to work from New York City headquarters with a hybrid schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the office)

Responsibilities

  • Owning and managing your assigned territory with strategic focus and accountability
  • Building, developing, and closing new client relationships that drive long-term value
  • Partnering closely with solution specialists to ensure technical wins
  • Exceeding pipeline and revenue targets, and landing new logos through referral network, partner activity, outbound contact, and supporting marketing events and campaigns
  • Highlighting Conduktor’s value proposition to raise curiosity and interest, and organizing demos and meetings with clients and the technical team
  • Utilizing a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of our solutions and value propositions
