Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years field sales experience required (Must be recent, within last 2-4 years)
  • Minimum of two (2) years relationship management experience
  • Proven experience managing a minimum of 50 prospective customers at any given time
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders (decision makers, C-levels, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
  • Physically located in the Nashville Metro Area
  • Ability to travel to client locations - 3 days out of the week in the field

Responsibilities

  • Increase customer base in assigned territory (Nashville and Alabama) through outbound prospecting in the field, developing lead sources and channel partnerships, partnering with Solutions Engineer to develop complex solutions, and effectively positioning Auctane’s suite of products and differentiating competitively
  • Grow an assigned book of business by annually increasing portfolio revenue through new logo acquisition and preparing strategic plans for top customers annually, and introducing upgrades and new features where applicable
  • Limit managed account churn by developing multi-layered solutions within accounts, leveraging field presence to add value on-site, and collaborating with Customer Success Manager and Solutions Engineer
  • Build strong internal and external customer relationships by developing network of champions at prospects and customers, leading the development and success of customers by referencing their business goals and aligning accurately, and effectively negotiating issues that may arise
  • Be an industry expert and advocate by being a product expert and communicating the value in new products/features to assigned accounts, and advising customers on industry news, innovations, trends, and best practices
  • Maintain and grow external relationships with personnel from the United States Postal Service and other channel partners, as well as internal cross-functional teams
  • Drive revenue growth within a defined territory
