Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship provided)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel
  • Preferred
  • University degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience in technical roles including Applications Engineering, Project/Program Management, and Technical Sales
  • Experience with CRM products such as Salesforce.com
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations to prospects, customers, and partners

Responsibilities

  • Review client projects and applications, and help with the scoping & configuration of application-appropriate robotic solutions for customers, independently and in collaboration with our team of Engineers
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating product features and software
  • Submit orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes
  • Provide company, product, and technical overview presentations
  • Provide pre-sales quotes to customers
  • Check purchase orders for accuracy against the quote or standards before processing
  • Provide technical assistance to customers - answering technical queries and perform research when answers are not immediately available
  • Execute outreach campaigns and secure net new business
  • Promote and sell Clearpath as a full-service robotic solutions provider
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of new technology and our solution offerings
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed
