Requirements

  • Experience with trends and developments in digital products (e.g., ad tech, data/data onboarding, first party data management, activation, attribution/measurement) and their effects on Experian Automotive, including how to leverage them to win more share of budgets
  • Understanding and curiosity of the automotive and advertising landscape and industries, including speaking to automotive trends, uncovering data set opportunities for clients, and understanding a cadence for growth
  • Ability to have strategic conversations with C-suite and decision makers up and down a client's organization
  • Ability to uncover needs to address client challenges with relevant insights and enterprise-level solutions that elevate Experian to preferred partner status
  • Track record in growing revenue and exceeding sales goals by networking horizontally and vertically within clients to acquire new business/contracts, upselling, and renewing existing business
  • Ability to develop client relationships in-person at networking events, conferences, and through remote capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate and partner across Experian teams to identify and tailor solutions to meet client needs
  • Experience positioning the benefits of data, product suite, and business model to decision makers at partners, demonstrating how Experian Automotive can help grow their business
  • Experience understanding and communicating insights, analytics, and trends
  • Strategic thinker who can understand client goals and collaborate to develop short- and long-term opportunities up and down the client
  • Background in sales focused on marketing, data activation, and insights
  • Ability to apply data solutions to power go-to-market plans, analytics, and attribution
  • Track record in positioning data products and solutions, using data to guide insights, creating meaningful meeting content, and delivering impactful sales pitches to clients and partners

Responsibilities

  • Grow existing lines of business and uncover new opportunities with new clients across Dealer Agencies, Marketing Tech, CDPs, and more
  • As the sales lead on a portfolio of automotive advertisers, drive revenue growth, develop short- and long-term strategy, scope opportunities, and retain clients
  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients, understanding their challenges, providing invaluable insights from Experian's automotive insights, and tailoring solutions to solve their challenges
  • Partner internally with partners, product experts, and consultants to create an integrated business plan and strategy supporting advertisers
  • Report to the Director of Advertising
