Requirements

  • Ability to generate revenue through sales to new and/or existing key accounts within a geographic area or market
  • Skill in collecting information to understand business issues, problems, opportunities, and identify sales prospects
  • Capability to prepare quantitative, qualitative, and financial data for pricing and sales presentations
  • Experience ensuring sales plans and key account strategies are implemented and sales/financial goals are obtained
  • Proficiency in researching target prospects, developing pipeline in assigned territory, portfolio, or accounts (typically handling 100k or less accounts like schools and districts)
  • Competence in conducting penetration analysis for existing clients and reviewing influencing factors/strategy to determine action plans
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, conduct cold calls, and nurture relationships for new sales
  • Skills as a frontline salesperson to nurture old and new relationships, execute cold call plans, and establish relationship plans with guidance
  • Understanding of territory through research, determining timing and contacts for prospects with guidance
  • Ability to create, maintain, and sustain Strategic Sales Plan (SSP) for top prospects and close sales with general guidance
  • Expertise in creating solution design plans, sizing conversion work, helping clients understand transition efforts, assessing business needs, reviewing options, and making recommendations
  • Capacity to create and modify sales project plans to close sales, conduct stage assessments, and orchestrate internal resources (e.g., pricing, IT, implementation) with guidance

Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities, conduct cold calls, and determine relationships to nurture
  • Act as frontline salesperson, nurture relationships, execute cold call plans, and establish relationship plans for new/existing business
