Entry Level & New Grad
The Access Center Navigator should have a thorough understanding of Virtua services, including tests, preps, and procedures, as well as knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology, and financial assistance programs. Familiarity with databases such as Epic, Calibrio, CRM, Cisco phone system, and the Physician database is also required.
The Access Center Navigator will serve as a point of contact for physicians, patients, and caregivers to assess Virtua Health services and convert interested callers into appointments, referrals, or service utilization. This role involves navigating patients through the continuum of care, acting as a concierge service to improve customer outcomes and satisfaction, and coordinating appointments, class registrations, and physician referrals. The navigator will also help patients overcome barriers to care, such as arranging transportation or connecting them with financial counseling, perform data entry with accurate patient information and coding, deliver monthly performance reports, follow up with patients, and maintain confidential records while resolving routine inquiries.
Reverses type 2 diabetes through personalized care
Virta Health focuses on reversing type 2 diabetes through a combination of personalized nutrition, continuous remote care, and behavioral science. Their treatment is designed for individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, healthcare providers, and enterprise partners like employers and health plans. Unlike many competitors, Virta Health operates on a performance-based model, meaning they only receive payment if they achieve successful outcomes for their patients. This aligns their financial incentives with patient health improvements. The company's goal is to reverse type 2 diabetes in 100 million people, making their approach not just about managing diabetes but actively working towards its reversal.
