Job Description: Sales Support Specialist (Enterprise & Partner Support)

Position Overview: Sales Support Specialist (Enterprise & Partner Support)

The Sales Support department is crucial in adapting to the rapidly increasing number of merchants, evolving service specifications, and the development of new services. This role involves constant updates to service operations and sales manuals. In this dynamic environment, the position requires frequent negotiation with sales representatives in the field and internal departments. The Sales Support department is comprised of six divisions: Sales Management, Sales Promotion, Sales Support, Enterprise & Partner Support, Inside Sales, and Digital Sales, with approximately 140 members. This department drives various support initiatives for PayPay's sales divisions, which are key to the company's business growth.

Background of Recruitment: PayPay's services for merchants and solutions for municipalities are updated daily, demanding continuous speed and growth from the sales members responsible for these areas. Furthermore, there is a need to strengthen the support system for increasingly complex and sophisticated sales operations. This recruitment is to expand our sales support capabilities.

Responsibilities:

The specific responsibilities will vary depending on the team assigned, based on the applicant's skills, experience, aptitude, and career aspirations.

Enterprise & Partner Support Division: Sales Promotion for Merchant Sales Division

This role supports the sales organization responsible for the enterprise segment of PayPay's merchants (e.g., nationwide chains, major online companies). Responsibilities include back-office support, such as training and education for over 100 sales representatives, and occasional participation in remote sales meetings. The Enterprise & Partner Support Division is structured into four teams (approximately 8 members each), and all members operate as project leaders, regardless of age or experience.

1. Project Promotion Team:

  • Planning sales strategies for new services and creating sales sheets.
  • Managing and reporting on the sales progress of various services.
  • Creating visualization models for the effectiveness of initiatives and improving reproducibility.
  • Facilitating regular sales meetings.
  • Planning and operating study sessions for sales staff.

2. Operations Promotion Team:

  • Designing and managing application flows for new service subscriptions.
  • Planning improvements to administrative operations and initiatives to reduce workload.
  • Defining requirements for the automation and systemization of sales administrative tasks.
  • Supporting temporary staff with inquiries regarding operations and KPIs.
  • Assisting with the operational management of outsourced vendors.

3. Data Promotion Team (AI Utilization Promotion):

  • Collaborating with the sales department to gather requirements for new projects utilizing generative AI.
  • Understanding business needs from the sales side and communicating them as concrete requirements to the development department.
  • Evaluating the feasibility of solutions utilizing generative AI and developing project plans.
  • Managing project progress and ensuring the quality of deliverables through close communication with the development department.
  • Achieving sales enablement using AI tools.
  • Supporting employee AI literacy and skill improvement through internal training.

Required Experience/Skills:

Common to All Teams:

  • Experience leading and promoting projects.
  • Data extraction and analysis (Excel advanced or higher, SQL, Google Sheets, etc. within the last year).
  • Presentation skills (creating various reports, proposals, and board meeting materials using PowerPoint).
  • Logical thinking and inter-departmental coordination skills.
  • Information gathering ability (collecting and organizing information from both internal and external sources).

For Operations Promotion Team:

  • Practical experience in defining requirements for automation and systemization, such as DX promotion.

For Data Promotion Team / AI Utilization Promotion:

  • 3+ years of project lead experience related to sales enablement in sales planning or similar departments.
  • 1+ year of generative AI-related product engineering experience or knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM systems.
  • Data extraction and analysis (Excel/Google Sheets advanced or higher, SQL, Python, etc. within the last year).

Desired Experience/Skills:

Common to All Teams:

  • Practical experience in automation (GAS, VBA, Python, etc.).
  • Experience coordinating with clients and conducting negotiations, such as in corporate or agency sales.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and experience levels.

For Data Promotion Team / AI Utilization Promotion:

  • Experience in project management spanning multiple departments.
  • Possession of at least one AI certification such as E検定, G検定, or cloud-related certifications (AWS, GCP, Microsoft, etc.).
  • Practical experience as a data scientist.

PayPay's Ideal Candidate:

  • Individuals who align with the "PayPay 5 senses."

Terms and Conditions:

  • Employment Type: Full-time Employee
  • Work Location: Hybrid Workstyle (Remote work from office, home, or satellite office). Attendance may be required based on organizational rules and operational instructions.
  • Working Hours: Super Flextime System (No core hours).
    • Principle: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes of work + 1 hour break).
  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, Year-End and New Year holidays, and company-designated days.
  • Leave:
    • Annual Paid Leave: 14 days in the first year (prorated based on the month of joining, usable from the start date).
    • Personal Leave: 5 days per year (3 or 5 days in the first year depending on the joining month). This is PayPay's unique special paid leave system that can be used for personal/family/pet illnesses, injuries, or accompanying them to medical appointments.
  • Salary: Annual salary system (includes a portion of fixed overtime pay). Determined based on experience, skills, performance, and contributions, according to company regulations. Reviewed annually. Special one-time payments (incentives) may be provided based on company performance and individual contributions (once a year). Overtime pay and late-night work allowance are provided. A portion of the salary can be received via the PayPay account (supports digital salary payments).
