Requirements

Candidates must have prior experience as a pre-sales SE, with experience in pre-sales proposal activities (customer analysis, issue raising, solution proposals). They should possess a deep understanding and experience of customer network environments and security measures, or have deep knowledge and application skills in related technologies. This includes experience with network design (LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF routing), security solutions (cybersecurity, internal security, cloud security), and strong logical thinking and communication skills. Fluency or native-level Japanese language proficiency (Japanese Proficiency Level 1 Grade or higher) is required, as is English reading and writing skills. Experience with global companies, security product pre-sales, router/switch products, and a strong analytical and problem-solving ability are also desired. Knowledge or experience in cloud security, firewalls, UTMs, IPSs, Proxies, SASE, and CASB security products is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Account Sales Engineer will be responsible for new business development and account management for the top 50 Japanese enterprises in the financial industry, as well as the media and retail distribution service industries. They will provide comprehensive proposals to solve customer problems, acting as a technical advisor to build trust and support sales activities with customers. The role involves understanding and combining the company's wide product portfolio to propose optimal solutions. The engineer will provide design, implementation, and platform migration overviews for key user accounts, including consultation and best practice guidance. They will assist with the design, testing, and validation of customer PoC verification, and lead the resolution process for customer challenges. They will also provide technical advisory support for customer issues.
