Experience in debugging complex issues across the stack, including networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks, is essential.
Candidates should have a strong background in technical services, technical support, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture. They must possess the ability to quickly obtain a deep technical understanding and create proof-of-concepts to validate new approaches. A self-directed attitude and the capability to identify important problems to solve are also essential.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on cloud computing and distributed systems. Demonstrated experience with web2 engineering best practices and web3 technologies is essential, as is a deep understanding of blockchain scalability and modularity.
Candidates should possess 5+ years of developer experience with Golang, 2+ years of experience in the web3 space, and 2+ years of experience working in production with infrastructure tools or cloud DevOps (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes). Familiarity with multiple programming languages like Golang, Rust, and Solidity, a strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols, and experience hacking on various rollups and EVM node software are preferred qualifications.
Candidates should have 4+ years of backend/infrastructure software engineering experience and 2+ years in technical leadership or engineering management. A strong operational mindset and experience with DevOps tools like Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD, gRPC/HTTP are required, along with a proven track record of shipping solutions and handling critical incidents. Basic understanding of crypto ecosystems is preferred, with rollup experience being a plus.
