Candidates should have deep experience with Rust, Python, open source, or developer tools. While strong candidates are expected to be proficient in these areas, prior experience in Rust or Python is not mandatory, as we have successfully hired candidates without it.

Candidates should have a strong background in build engineering, particularly with experience in optimizing build-and-release pipelines. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with the CPython build system are essential. Experience with open source contributions and community engagement is also required.

Candidates should have at least 8 years of total sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the payments industry or a related vertical. A proven track record of successfully selling complex solutions is essential. Strong analytical and strategic negotiation skills are required, along with excellent communication abilities to educate and negotiate at all decision-making levels. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of quickly learning new concepts.

Candidates should possess demonstrated, deep expertise building highly performant, highly robust cloud infrastructure at scale, and the ability to apply that experience in a startup environment, including navigating on-prem, Bring Your Own Cloud, and other deployment models. Strong experience with choosing hosting and cloud providers is also required.

Candidates should possess strong programming experience in Python or Golang focused on backend or infrastructure systems, familiarity with data analytics platforms such as BigQuery, Splunk, or ELK, a solid understanding of operating systems, security fundamentals, and scalable software design, and exposure to capacity modeling, forecasting, and planning for infrastructure or cloud environments.
