A Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Candidates must build productive internal and external working relationships and exercise judgment within defined procedures. An understanding of data center network architecture and common issues related to data centers is also necessary.
The role involves working on problems of moderate scope, receiving general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects, and applying company policies and procedures. It requires close collaboration with Network Engineering, Logistics, Facilities Operations, equipment vendors, Sales, Customer Support, and internal departments.
Strong candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of related experience, an understanding of data center network architecture, and the ability to build productive relationships while exercising judgment within procedures. Experience with network deployment, asset management, documentation, and working with vendors in data centers and POP sites will stand out.
