Requirements

  • Genuine passion for wine and interest in building a commercial career in eCommerce
  • Organised, detail-driven, and analytical, comfortable with Excel, reporting, and deadlines
  • Clear communication, strong collaboration skills, and ability to take ownership to move work forward
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Nice to have: experience in a similar role, knowledge of Australian and international wines, relevant tertiary study, or WSET Level 2

Responsibilities

  • Building customer offers for campaigns, seasonal peaks, and always-on activity
  • Setting and maintaining pricing to margin targets; tracking results and recommending optimisations
  • Producing accurate stock forecasts; prioritising on-hand inventory; resolving availability or oversell issues fast
  • Coordinating with other markets to secure allocations and align incoming shipments
  • Communicating finalised offers to creative and sales; copy-checking and signing off wine details for marketing materials
  • Sharing product knowledge internally and at customer tastings when needed
  • Reporting on sales and margin performance to the wider business
  • Selecting wines from the range to meet promotional briefs
  • Managing pricing to planned margins and building accurate stock forecasts to ensure campaigns land on time and in full
  • Prioritising on-hand inventory and liaising with other markets to secure wines for incoming shipments
