Requirements
Candidates must possess work experience, preferably welding in a heavy equipment environment, and have excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and decision-making abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to work with minimal guidance and a commitment to meeting given targets. Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and responsibilities is also essential.
Responsibilities
As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for tacking and welding materials together according to engineering drawings to the highest standard and quality, understanding Lean Principles & methodology, working within a team environment, using own initiative, complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes, and procedures, and demonstrating a professional approach to all tasks undertaken while maintaining a high standard of timekeeping and attendance. You will also be expected to work on own initiative, have a high attention to detail, and be able to meet strict deadlines, as well as contribute to quality improvements and flexible approach to meet business needs/targets.
