Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a 4-year program and have at least 5 years of related experience in the steel fabrication industry. A strong understanding of AISC, AWS, ASTM, and OSHA requirements is necessary, along with effective communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiating skills. The ability to interpret instructions, exceptional organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, and the capacity to read and speak English are also required. Willingness to travel for training and job site visits is expected.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will manage customer projects by coordinating with internal departments and providing support to external customers. They will offer operational direction and guidance for structural steel production from sale to close-out, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Key duties include developing customer relationships, coordinating project schedules with drafting and production, preparing and approving purchase orders and invoices, maintaining communication records, responding to information requests, researching and preparing change orders, coordinating with detailing teams, resolving claims and document issues, tracking financial records, working with customers on back charges, and attending job site meetings as needed.
