Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in wealth distribution, asset management, or private markets, with a proven track record in Belgium and/or Luxembourg
  • Thorough knowledge of the local Private Banking, Wealth and Asset management industry and market dynamics
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, prospecting, objection handling, closing and long-term relationship management
  • General understanding of product set – ETFs, active fund products and liquid alternative solutions
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or an equal professional experience
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on private market structures, regulatory frameworks (FSMA, CSSF), and tax-efficient wrappers in Belgium and Luxembourg

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic relationships across the BeLux wealth ecosystem, to contribute to the growth of BlackRock’s franchise, with a focus on private market adoption
  • Build out and monitor BlackRock’s BeLux wealth book of business in line with firm’s best practices, taking ownership of performance
  • Own and drive EMEA Wealth’s BeLux strategy and drive buy list penetration and net new flows across ETFs, active funds, and liquid/illiquid alternatives
  • Work closely with BlackRock’s investment teams to execute on product priorities and expand specialism within EMEA Wealth
  • Execute product campaigns via product education sessions digitally as well as on the ground
  • Participation in and organization of client events, presentations, educational sessions as speaker and further development of such formats
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships and portfolio solutions to support new and existing client relationships and cross-functional projects
  • Independently and collaboratively undertake research of the BeLux landscape, contributing to the development of BLK products & solutions to meet evolving needs of our clients
  • Increase accessibility and utilization of firm thought leadership capabilities by BeLux clients
  • Responsibility to ensure that all regulatory & legal requirements and standards are met personally and within the team
  • Lead the promotion and onboarding of private market solutions (e.g., ELTIF 2.0, RAIFs, co-investment platforms) across insurance wrappers and wealth platforms
  • Partner with Product Strategy, Legal, and Distribution teams to scale private market offerings and ensure compliance
