Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • Advanced certifications such as CFA or CFP preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail banking, investment management, and sales, with preference for 15+ years in wealth and asset management
  • Experience in selling investment products to banks, both home offices and branch advisors
  • Proven leadership in selling into multi-billion-dollar portfolios and diverse client bases
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment vehicles, and regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
  • Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to deliver investment solutions to bank trust and bank wealth businesses
  • Build and develop cross-functional teams to support transformation of traditional trust departments into integrated wealth management businesses
  • Set sales targets and drive team performance to achieve defined goals
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive investment product sales
  • Focus on new business acquisition, client retention, and growth of new production
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities and trends
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with FINRA, SEC, state, and company policies and regulations
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to monitor sales performance
  • Review and refine sales processes to increase efficiency and maximize the customer experience
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance to senior leadership
