Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Advanced certifications such as CFA or CFP (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail banking, investment management, and sales (preference for 15+ years in wealth and asset management)
  • Experience in selling investment products to banks and specific products preferred by different bank types, both home offices and branch advisors
  • Proven leadership in selling into multi-billion-dollar portfolios and diverse client bases
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment vehicles, and regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
  • Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams
  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of investment products and financial markets
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies
  • Highly analytical, able to interpret financial data and market trends for data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to deliver innovative investment solutions (individual solutions and model portfolios) to bank trust and bank wealth businesses regulated by OCC, FINRA, or SEC
  • Build and develop cross-functional teams to deliver investment solutions and support transformation of traditional trust departments into integrated wealth management businesses, aligning needs of bank “agency”, “RIA”, or “broker dealer” driven wealth businesses with SEI's investment capabilities
  • Set sales targets and drive team performance to achieve defined goals
  • Focus on talent development, including conducting performance reviews and supporting career growth, with emphasis on performance management for net new business and net new fee revenue growth
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive investment product sales
  • Focus on new business acquisition, client retention, and growth of new production
  • Drive consistent net new asset sales growth, integrate customized investment solutions, and deepen fiduciary partnerships across diverse client segments
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities and trends
  • Support business expansion and development of new client relationships
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with FINRA, SEC, state, and company policies and regulations
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to monitor sales performance
  • Review and refine sales processes to increase efficiency and maximize customer experience
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance to senior leadership
  • Work closely with leaders of bank technology, custody, and business processing leadership, strategy, and sales teams to expand institutional client base and assets under management through national, regional, local, and community bank trust and wealth partnerships
