Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess 0-1 year of relevant work experience, with a preference for 2 years of consistent work history and 1 year of Selection Experience. They should have experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, as well as warehouse, military, or physically active job experience. Frequent lifting of products weighing 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs, reaching up to 72 inches, bending, twisting, and working in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer) are also required.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Order Selector will work in a Sysco warehouse as a critical member of the foodservice supply chain, picking orders for delivery to foodservice venues. This role involves operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders, and working in areas with temperature and humidity variations. The Selector will also frequently lift and move product, bend, twist, and work on their feet for extended periods, with overtime opportunities available, and perform other duties as assigned to support the warehouse operations.
