Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in training or instructing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL is required, along with the ability to lead discussions effectively in public forums and a strong understanding of adult education principles. The role requires the ability to develop and deliver both online and live training, adapt quickly to trainee needs, and travel domestically up to 75% of the time. A valid driver's license is necessary, and the ability to work at heights and in restrictive areas, along with lifting up to 50 pounds, is essential.

Responsibilities

The Field System Operator Trainer will design, create, and deliver training programs for Symbotic automated robots and related system assets, focusing on mechanical, PLC, electrical, or electronic subsystems. Responsibilities include conducting classroom and hands-on training for customer site personnel, coaching and developing both Symbotic and client staff, and tracking team growth. The trainer will also escalate customer issues, support other customers as directed, partner with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, and suggest improvements to training materials and programs. Maintaining working knowledge of all products and processes, identifying cost-efficient diagnosis and repair methods, and complying with all safety protocols are also key duties.
