Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in logistics management, supply chain management, pharmacy, or related fields
  • At least 8 years of warehouse logistics management experience, including at least 5 years as a warehouse manager or equivalent senior position in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry
  • Familiarity with the Drug Administration Law and GMP-related regulations, with deep understanding of special requirements for pharmaceutical warehouse management
  • Proficiency in warehouse management processes (SOPs), with extensive knowledge and practical experience in inventory management
  • Proficiency in using WMS, ERP systems, and Office software
  • Experience leading or participating in GMP certifications, flight inspections, or other regulatory audits
  • Knowledge or practical experience in lean production, 6S management, etc
  • Excellent team leadership, communication, coordination, and conflict resolution skills, with ability to lead cross-level teams
  • Strong sense of responsibility, principled, detail-oriented, and able to withstand work pressure
  • Proficient English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and operations management: Formulate and execute long-term warehouse strategies and annual operational plans to support business growth; optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity planning, and material flow to improve space utilization and efficiency; manage and control warehouse operational budgets (including labor, equipment, consumables) and seek cost reduction opportunities; lead warehouse modernization projects such as WMS upgrades and automation equipment introduction
  • GMP/GSP compliance and quality management: Ensure all operations 100% comply with GMP, GSP requirements, and internal/external audit standards; establish, maintain, and continuously improve warehouse-related quality management system documents (SOPs) and ensure strict team execution; fully responsible for storage conditions management of raw materials, excipients, and finished products, especially temperature and humidity monitoring/control, ensuring full compliance and data traceability; lead responses to regulatory flight inspections, internal audits, and headquarters audits, formulate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for findings, and track to closure; responsible for quality control in key processes like raw material/finished product inbound acceptance, in-storage maintenance, and outbound verification
  • Inventory management and control: Ensure inventory accuracy, establish and supervise cycle count and annual inventory plans, promptly handle gains/losses, and analyze root causes; implement advanced inventory control methods (e.g., FIFO, FEFO) to minimize inventory losses and risks of near-expiry/expired materials; manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses to ensure operations meet company quality requirements
  • Team leadership and personnel development: Recruit, train, manage, and motivate warehouse teams (including supervisors, team leads, warehouse staff), fostering a positive, continuously improving team culture; develop and implement employee skills matrices and training plans, especially on GMP/GSP regulations, SOPs, and safe operations; set clear team and individual performance goals (KPIs) and conduct regular evaluations and feedback
  • Safety, environment, and health (EHS): Fully responsible for warehouse safety production, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations to prevent fires, theft, injuries, etc.; manage storage and handling of hazardous materials (e.g., alcohol, flammable chemicals, poisons); regularly organize safety training and emergency drills
