Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales leadership experience, with a track record of exceeding quotas and scaling teams
  • Proven experience selling complex, technical products to enterprise buyers (e.g., CIOs, VPs of Engineering, Architects)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
  • Experience in both early-stage startups and scaling post-Series B+ organizations (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence product roadmap and GTM initiatives
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with open-source business models and developer-first sales motions (nice to have)
  • Experience expanding into international markets (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand Redpanda’s enterprise sales team across regions and verticals
  • Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for enterprise accounts
  • Develop and implement scalable sales processes, KPIs, and forecasting methodologies
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to align enterprise GTM strategy
  • Cultivate relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies
  • Establish a metrics-driven sales culture with clear accountability and transparency
  • Drive strategic deals from inception to close, especially in key target verticals like finance, media, and security
  • Hire, mentor, and retain world-class sales talent to support aggressive growth targets
