Position Overview

  • Location Type: Remote
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Salary: Not Specified

Our mission is to fix the outdated clinical trial infrastructure that drives up the cost of developing new medicines, causing patients to wait longer and pay more for treatments. We use software to help innovative companies run faster, more reliable, and patient-friendly clinical trials. Since March 2021, we've helped run over 100 clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients, achieving a customer NPS of 100. We recently secured a $55m Series B funding round.

We are seeking an exceptional VP Clinical Operations to lead our US Clinical Operations team. This role is responsible for our US trial portfolio and scaling our US operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across various therapeutic areas and phases, including technology-enabled trials, a proportionate approach to trial design, and experience growing and leading large teams. You will collaborate closely with the Global VP of Clinical Operations and other leadership teams in the US and UK, as well as cross-functional teams including Product, People, and Commercial. The position is based in the US (preferably East Coast or East Coast working hours), with travel to the UK required 2-3 times annually.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in clinical trials, with responsibility for project implementation.
  • Experience beyond working solely within a large CRO.
  • Experience with a wide variety of clinical trials.
  • Deep understanding of FDA/GCP trial requirements and up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations.
  • Experience implementing trials outside of the US is desirable.
  • Proven experience growing high-performing teams, including responsibility for processes, hiring, and training.
  • Experience working with innovative trial technology and a desire to innovate in the space.
  • High agency and a bias for action.
  • Passion and curiosity for our mission of changing the healthcare industry and new health treatment development.
  • Desire to experience life at a high-growth, mission-driven VC-funded startup.
