Requirements

  • Ensures effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock, and inventory levels
  • Budgets and forecasts sales; assesses economic trends and community needs
  • Models, enforces, and provides direction on proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines
  • Oversees implementation of and participates in community outreach programs; encourages Associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, and directing Associates on confidentiality
  • Provides supervision and development for Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and fostering a culture of belonging
  • Ensures provision of quality eyewear by consulting/educating Members/Customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining Optical equipment
  • Upholds Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying/communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvements, and promoting adaptability/continuous learning
  • Ensures compliance with company policies/procedures and supports mission, values, ethics/integrity by implementing action plans and utilizing Open Door Policy
