Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in both data science fundamentals and product development, with a proven track record of scaling AI/DS organizations and delivering enterprise-grade solutions. They must have a strong understanding of AI/ML and Data Science teams, and experience collaborating closely with other departmental functions. Furthermore, the candidate should have experience in defining and executing AI Roadmaps, establishing innovative frameworks, and ensuring quality, provenance, explainability, and lineage tracking throughout AI products.

Responsibilities

As the Vice President of AI, the candidate will be responsible for leading Govini’s comprehensive AI Strategy, managing AI/ML and Data Science teams, and collaborating with other departments. They will define the future of data science and AI products at Govini, establishing frameworks, driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge data science methods, and ensuring the continued development of robust systems for AI quality. The role involves overseeing AI product development, designing and owning the AI Product Roadmap, collaborating with Product and Engineering leadership, partnering with external client teams, becoming an expert in the National Security domain, recruiting and retaining top talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and developing career progression frameworks.
