Responsibilities

  • Drive customer growth by executing new government contracts and growing existing ones, using expertise in federal procurement law to support Business Development, Sales, and Capture teams
  • Assist in strategy development for new business and lead or support negotiations with government acquisition officials and industry teammates
  • Manage relationships with procurement office representatives at government agencies
  • Provide legal counsel and day-to-day partnership with Capture and Contracts Management teams, including contributing to major proposals and bid protests, leading or assisting in key negotiations, resolving performance issues, identifying risks and mitigations, and ensuring compliance
  • Oversee the company’s ethics and compliance program, collaborating with People Operations on development, implementation, management, policies, procedures, training, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing corrective action plans
  • Support the Chief Strategy Officer in evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities, including risk evaluation, due diligence management, and coordination with internal leadership and external stakeholders
  • Lead and manage all legal matters for the company, including development of legal strategy and framework, and collaboration with outside counsel
  • Actively participate as a senior member of the Management Team, providing legal and business counsel to cross-functional teams
  • Maintain current knowledge of legal developments affecting public sector work (e.g., federal procurement rules, compliance requirements, transparency expectations) and surface action items to leadership
