Requirements

  • 10+ years in pharma/life sciences technology, consulting, or sales operations
  • 5+ years hands-on in enterprise architecture or solution design, with experience in pre-sales and client-facing consulting
  • Proven ability to own pipeline and opportunity management, with direct experience in sales operations or pre-sales engineering
  • Strong architecture documentation skills: diagrams, data flows, specs
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks (i.e. TOGAF, SAFe) — certification preferred
  • Experience leading architecture steering committees, governance processes, and standards development
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in customer engagement, content optimization, and data insights
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on in technical solutioning

Responsibilities

  • Own and contribute to the sales opportunity lifecycle, including pipeline management, forecasting, and sales operations processes
  • Lead discovery workshops, roadmap sessions, and technology visioning with senior pharma stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted SME: deliver pitches, lead executive presentations, attend client meetings, events, and dinners
  • Develop solution spec sheets, proposals, pricing estimates, and SOWs, collaborating with sales and delivery leaders
  • Partner with internal sales and account teams to position technology as a differentiator in new business pursuits
  • Design end-to-end omnichannel architectures spanning: CRM & Marketing Automation (Salesforce, Veeva, Adobe, Marketo, SFMC), Content Ecosystem (CMS, DAM, modular content operations), Data Infrastructure (CDPs, data warehouses like Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, MDM, analytics), Media & AdTech (DSPs, DMPs, programmatic, social orchestration), APIs & Integrations (real-time, batch, middleware, ETL, microservices)
  • Create and present architecture diagrams, interaction models, data flows, and technical design documents
  • Conduct system assessments, gap analyses, and future-state roadmaps for pharma omnichannel ecosystems
  • Support architecture steering committees; define and evolve governance frameworks, standards, and reference architectures
  • Guide clients on integration strategies, scalability, and compliance
  • Provide hands-on leadership in solutioning while coaching internal teams in architecture best practices
  • Apply AI/ML solutions to omnichannel marketing and customer engagement (next-best-action, personalization, predictive analytics)
  • Guide clients in generative AI applications: content modularization, tagging, NLP, automation of insights
  • Act as a thought leader in the intersection of AI, data, and omnichannel engagement
