Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, and an electro-mechanical associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. They must be certified in vibration analysis and have at least two years of experience as a Vibration Technician, demonstrating proficiency with Emerson (CSI) 2120/2130/2140 and the ability to read blueprints and precision measure devices, along with knowledge of bearing assemblies. Strong mechanical understanding of industrial equipment and troubleshooting skills are also required, as well as effective communication skills and no lifting restrictions.
The Vibration Technician will work closely with senior technicians to test and analyze spindles, ensuring vibration levels are within tolerance and set up run-off for finished product, analyze vibration data to determine fault frequencies of bearing systems, perform field balancing as needed, and occasionally travel to customer sites to perform on-site vibration analysis.
