TS/SCI Full Scope Poly clearance
Experience building scalable user research solutions for multiple cross-functional teams
Experience cultivating growth through coaching and mentoring
Experience growing design communities and leading discussions on design practices
Expertise advising on usability trends, practices, and research methods
Ability to coach and mentor teams on user-centered practices in agile workflows
Skills in mentoring and directing Designers and Researchers
Experience managing research plans, participant tasks, and blockers with Scrum Masters
Knowledge of user-centered, evidence-based approaches to requirements and solutions
Ability to build and maintain research repositories
Experience analyzing and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data for insights and recommendations

Responsibilities

Build scalable user research solutions for multiple cross-functional teams and Business Development strategies
Cultivate a community of growth through coaching and mentoring
Grow design community and strategies, lead discussions on practices and standards, contribute to practice areas
Advise designers, researchers, and teams on usability trends, practices, and research methods
Coach and mentor inexperienced teams to adopt user-centered practices in agile workflows
Mentor, steward, and direct Designers and Researchers to improve work quality
Ensure cross-disciplinary involvement in research plans by assigning/managing tasks and removing blockers
Advise team and customer on user-centered, evidence-based approaches
Build, maintain, and promote research repository for teams
Work with Visual Designers to translate insights into visual artifacts and products
Analyze and synthesize data to generate insights and actionable recommendations
Develop and execute research plans with clear objectives
Adhere to research ethics and privacy guidelines, clarify restrictions, triage breaches
Set direction for delivery and collection of user experience metrics
Define and champion research processes and tools
Advocate for inclusive practices and accessible products/services
Plan and facilitate participatory and iterative design activities
