Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Financial Engineering. A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience at a buy-side or sell-side firm is required, along with a strong analytical toolkit and fluency in statistical modeling, econometrics, and/or machine learning methods. Proficiency with Python, R, or similar tools for quantitative research, and experience working with financial and/or alternative data to generate investment insights are essential. Deep curiosity about financial markets and a passion for data-driven investing are also necessary, as is the ability to balance independent research with collaborative execution in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Quantitative Researcher will develop and enhance systematic strategies using alternative datasets to generate predictive insights and improve investment decision-making. Responsibilities include exploring and evaluating datasets to identify leading KPIs and statistical signals, designing and backtesting models to validate predictive value, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams to scale research into production-ready quant products. The role also involves shaping the future of the quant business line by contributing to team strategy and process development.
