This role is for a UX Manager or Sr. UX Manager to lead and mentor a global team of designers focused on new functionality for the Growth group within Research and Development. The team will be responsible for ensuring new releases meet both business and user goals.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of UX designers (5+ team members).
  • Strong understanding of UX strategy and execution.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering and Product Management teams.
  • Proficiency in design tools, specifically Figma and the Habanero design system.
  • Ability to understand product, manage a team, and create processes for growth and scaling.
  • Experience working with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers in Portugal and the US.
  • Partner with Directors of Engineering and Product Management to lead the Growth Group in the R&D organization.
  • Define and drive UX best practices, ensuring a seamless, user-centered design experience.
  • Conduct research and design operations to inform product development.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and capabilities that drive customer satisfaction and business expansion.
  • Form a triad with an engineering and product management leader to drive innovative projects.
