Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant product design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in design related field
  • Expert-level knowledge of industry design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Experience giving and receiving design critique
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating strategic, conceptual, and visual excellence
  • Extensive UX experience working in a B2B business with enterprise customers
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver UX and UI prototypes for validation and implementation
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with marketing, advertising, or eCommerce

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, prototyping, and evaluation of the overall usability and adoptability of Northbeam’s products
  • Develop a strong UX/UI vision for the Northbeam platform
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into requirements and designs
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate how the Northbeam product should work
  • Deliver and enhance products that empower Northbeam’s customers to excel in their jobs
  • Mentor other designers and create and nurture partnerships with brand and marketing teams
  • Align the executive team around a design vision for products and features
  • Think about the customer experience across every touchpoint and channel
  • Interface directly with clients to understand their needs and work alongside a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, develop, deliver, and iterate on each project
