Requirements

  • Ability to drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, instock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs
  • Knowledge of proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines and standards

  • Expertise in ensuring compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations, including analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, overseeing reviews, and developing action plans
  • Skills in providing supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Proficiency in providing quality eyewear services: consulting/educating Members/Customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining Optical equipment
  • Ability to uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions
  • Competence in coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities, developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans/initiatives, communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, pricing, signing, instock/inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and assessing trends/community needs
  • Model, enforce, and guide Associates on Customer/Member service to resolve issues per Company standards
  • Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging Associate community involvement
  • Ensure compliance with policies/regulations by analyzing reports, monitoring controls, overseeing reviews, implementing action plans, executing programs/initiatives, and directing Associates on confidentiality
  • Provide supervision and development for Vision Center Associates: hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, belonging mindset
  • Ensure quality eyewear provision: consult/educate Members/Customers, select products, measurements, verify prescriptions, confidentiality, minor repairs, maintain equipment
  • Uphold Open Door Policy: meet Associates, listen to concerns, research/review policies, suggest resolutions
