Responsibilities

  • Direct and guide management and hourly associates on customer service approaches by modeling excellence, teaching (e.g., tours), and resolving issues
  • Drive financial performance by confirming budgets, assisting store manager in expense/wage control, creating improvement plans/budgets, and forecasting based on trends/community needs
  • Participate in community outreach, support associates as community members, maintain key relationships, represent company externally, follow media guidelines, and promote company initiatives
  • Direct facility operations by setting service standards, developing merchandise presentation, maintaining inventory/pricing/signage, requesting merchandise, guiding program execution, and overseeing quality/safety reviews
  • Provide supervision/development for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing performance, delegating objectives, and developing staffing for growth
  • Drive execution of business plans/projects by identifying needs, communicating priorities, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring/adjusting performance, developing contingency plans, and demonstrating adaptability
  • Supervise associates by selecting/training/mentoring, building team-based environments, establishing/evaluating performance, providing recognition/coaching, and promoting belonging
