Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Direct and guide management and hourly associates on customer service approaches by modeling excellence, conducting tours, and resolving issues
  • Drive financial performance by confirming budgets, assisting store manager in expense/wage control, implementing improvement plans, creating budgets, and forecasting based on trends/community needs
  • Participate in community outreach, encourage associate involvement, build community relationships, represent the company, follow media guidelines, and promote company programs/events/sustainability
  • Direct facility operations by setting service standards, teaching merchandise presentation, maintaining inventory/pricing/signage, requesting merchandise, guiding program execution, ensuring quality/safety
  • Provide supervision/development for management and associates via hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognition, delegation, and staffing for growth
  • Execute business plans/projects by identifying needs, communicating priorities, removing obstacles, providing resources, measuring/adjusting performance, and developing contingency plans
  • Supervise associates by selecting/training/mentoring, building team environment, setting/evaluating performance, providing recognition/coaching, and promoting belonging
