Requirements

  • Expertise in HVACR systems, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment

  • Capability to conduct inspections, ensure contract compliance, and perform preventive maintenance
  • Training and leadership skills for onsite sessions, hands-on repairs, skill evaluations, and providing expert advice/best practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in Facilities Management HVACR teams, determine customer needs/business priorities, coordinate/execute work assignments, provide advice/feedback/support, and model adaptation to change
  • Oversee and implement special projects for field operations, including data collection, evaluating technology, correcting deficiencies, and suggesting improvements
  • Complete and submit required paperwork (e.g., expense vouchers, weekly summaries, refrigerant logs, work orders) to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations by following Walmart HVACR safety policy/environmental guidelines and reclaiming ozone-depleting refrigerants
  • Ensure compliance with HVACR industry regulations by conducting inspections and making repairs
  • Maintain quality standards by inspecting installations/modifications of HVACR equipment/EMS, ensuring contract compliance, and reporting deficiencies
  • Manage resources for HVACR maintenance/repair by handling refrigerant levels/parts inventory, recording/tracking/ordering parts, and building supplier/contractor relationships
  • Ensure financial sustainability by compiling/reporting budget info, requesting equipment replacements, submitting warranty claims, reviewing journals/invoices, conducting price comparisons, and developing project scopes (e.g., rooftop units, condenser coil replacements)
  • Provide training (e.g., safety, control troubleshooting, oil system operation) via onsite sessions, hands-on repairs, skill evaluations, and reports to leadership
  • Ensure working order of HVACR/EMS/direct digital control equipment by troubleshooting/diagnosing/maintaining/repairing, performing preventive maintenance, sharing best practices, and managing workloads with external providers
  • Demonstrate expertise in action plans, provide guidance to others, align efforts to customer/business needs, and build commitment to perspectives
  • Implement business solutions by building stakeholder relationships, identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring progress, and adapting to changes
  • Model compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics, incorporate into business plans, and assist others in application
