Requirements

  • Ability to drive execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing business plans, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, and developing contingency plans
  • Experience providing supervision and development for associates, including selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, building team environments, setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, coaching, and promoting belonging

  • Skills in evaluating business needs, consulting with stakeholders, improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and supporting community outreach
  • Capability to oversee a campus environment with multiple buildings, coordinating across diverse operational areas and facility teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts and partnerships with vendors, including coordinating price negotiations, interacting with project managers on capital projects, influencing service/warranty processes, reviewing contracts, auditing vetting processes, and communicating with contracting team
  • Manage, protect, and improve Walmart assets by supporting regional operations in budgeting, monitoring capital spending and expense budgets, driving reliability and maintenance practices, auditing facility assets (e.g., buildings, grounds, parking, material handling equipment, energy centers), advising on asset conditions, developing overhaul/retrofit plans, providing input to prevent damage, and creating budget forecasts for 5-year plans and annual budgets
  • Provide leadership to the regional operating team by participating in annual meetings, weekly calls, coordinating operational strategy, utilizing assets for volume changes, establishing standards, developing/communicating KPIs and financial indicators, managing associate/HR issues, recruiting/budgeting for DCs, training on preventative maintenance, facilitating regional communications (e.g., monthly calls, procedure reviews, Gantt charts), and coordinating equipment replacements based on volume/flow to maximize productivity
