Requirements

- Ability to develop and manage sanitation budgets
- Ability to supervise and direct Sanitation Specialists and MSS Coordinator
- Ability to oversee CIP/COP (Clean In Place/Clean Out of Place) activities
- Ability to develop and deliver training on chemical security, safety, food safety, quality, and sanitation equipment
- Ability to work with chemical suppliers and Pest Control Operators
- Ability to maintain cleaning schedules, sanitation records, and pest control records
- Ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and regulatory standards
- Skills in hiring, training, mentoring, and developing associates
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and promote teamwork, belonging, and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Oversee Dairy Plant sanitation practices, including developing and managing sanitation accounts to budget
- Supervise cleaning of plant and equipment to meet GMP guidelines and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP)
- Maintain plant cleaning schedules and supply/usage of sanitation chemicals
- Ensure compliance with MSDS requirements and proper use of cleaning agents
- Work with chemical suppliers to improve sanitation operations through automation and system refinement
- Review and approve all plant sanitation documentation
- Supervise daily workloads of Sanitation Specialists and MSS Coordinator, prioritizing tasks and directing standard work
- Coordinate cleaning activities and oversee/validate all CIP/COP activities
- Develop required training for sanitation associates on chemical security, safety, food safety, quality, and equipment; verify training completion
- Support sanitation training for all plant associates and HAZWOPER/HAZMAT team under PSM program
- Monitor and supervise dairy plant and cooler pest control activities with Pest Control Operator
- Ensure pest management complies with CGMP, NPMA standards, food safety requirements, and record-keeping regulations
- Train pest management associates on relevant policies
- Coordinate job-related activities, develop stakeholder relationships, support business plans, set goals, measure progress, and identify improvements
- Provide supervision and development for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and promoting belonging
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Open Door Policy, mission, values, ethics, and integrity
