Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other programs developed by Walmart
  • Drive sales and profit in Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, developing cross-functional relationships, and assessing economic trends and demographics
  • Model, enforce, and provide direction on proper customer service approaches and techniques to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines
  • Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs; encourage Associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety/operational/quality assurance reviews, developing action plans, and providing direction on Company programs and initiatives
  • Provide supervision and development for Associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback, recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and records per Company policies and local/State/Federal guidelines
  • Manage Pharmacy Operations: conduct Associate meetings to address needs/concerns/issues, share new initiatives, align operations with Company/regulatory standards, ensure adherence to policies for advising/verifying/dispensing products, insurance, and licensure; document and share changes in products/procedures/ideas
  • Oversee Inventory Flow: monitor process to identify merchandise needs, ensure proper execution, monitor/evaluate facility for inventory problems
  • Manage Finances: demonstrate financial skills, manage budgets, align with business requirements, account for/report financials, comply with policies, compile/evaluate data, monitor trends for market changes/opportunities
  • Create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicate expectations, hold others accountable for SOPs and quality/safety goals; ensure counseling on new therapy/items as requested/required with documentation; analyze/improve areas for team knowledge, patient safety, and risk reduction; promote reporting
