Requirements

  • Proficiency in driving financial performance, including reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation/inventory/operations, and mitigating shrink to achieve sales/profit goals
  • Skills in supervising and developing hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, ensuring belonging/diversity awareness, and recruiting for staffing needs
  • Capability to coordinate/oversee job-related activities, build stakeholder relationships, set goals, measure progress, identify improvements, demonstrate adaptability, and promote continuous learning
  • Understanding of company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, integrity, Open Door Policy, and ability to implement related action plans

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, communicating store operations/business initiatives/merchandising/company direction, introducing change efforts, and providing clear expectations/guidance
  • Model/demonstrate customer service standards, manage/support initiatives (e.g., store of the community, outreach), resolve customer needs/complaints/issues, develop/implement action plans for deficiencies, and provide process improvement leadership
  • Drive financial performance/sales in designated store area by reviewing P&L, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensuring merchandise presentation/seasonal transitions/inventory flow/operational processes, and implementing action plans for shrink/sales/profit goals
  • Provide supervision/development for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, communicating effectively, ensuring belonging/diversity awareness, and recruiting/developing associates
  • Coordinate/complete/oversee job activities by maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying/communicating goals/objectives, building accountability/measuring progress, addressing improvements, and promoting adaptability/learning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity by implementing action plans, utilizing Open Door Policy, and providing direction/guidance on business processes/practices
